When I first met Jess & Nick last year at The Ivory Oak to photograph their engagement session, I absolutely knew they were a dream couple! The forecast for their engagement session was supposed to be FRIGID. Like single digits. And snowing. Woof. I mentioned that we could totally reschedule if they wanted to, but Jess was still all for it!
Fast-forward to their engagement session and the forecast was right. It was bitterly cold. But Jess & Nick showed up all smiles as we hiked to those white cliffs and took some incredible photos, even with Jess in her adorable dress braving the cold!
Then the wedding day arrived and I was SO excited. I love these two amazing people! Their wedding day was gorgeous, sitting on the stunning grounds of the Bluestone Country Club just outside of Philadelphia. The fall colors were perfect, and Jess & Nick were even more perfect!
One thing I admire about Jess was that she wanted to get ready in the home she grew up in. You can’t know where you’re going, unless you know where you came from, and I know that Jess knows this so very well. Her roots are her foundation, and what has made her into the amazing person she is today!
The wedding was stunning, the florals were jaw-dropping (amazing job, Anne Ottley!), and we left Jess & Nick’s wedding smiling from ear to ear! They had also hired wedding streaming services, which was a great addition to the event. You can click here to find out more
Jess & Nick – Thank you SO much for letting us be a part of your wonderful day. I’ll never forget your kindness and willingness to brave the elements to get those great photos! You both are wonderful, and a true testament to true love. Congratulations to you both!
